Layout

Homepage: no need for a hierarchy of information (Austin & Doust 2007, p. 65) on the homepage as it is all one image: each object provides equal opportunity to be explored.

Explanation: by placing the object that was clicked on in the top left corner (the place where the eye usually starts, both in a Z- or F- page scanning pattern, provides a sense of continuity with the homepage, reinforcing the fact that all pages are part of the one project (this also achieved through continuous colour scheme, hand-drawn aesthetic, and placement of universal navigation bar at the bottom).

Quote: with the purpose of showcasing the individual and their method for staying relevant, the profile tile (whether it remain anonymous or be their photo with a ‘hand-drawn’ filter over it) and quote should take up equal parts of the screen.

Interview: could either be an alternative to the ‘quote’ page, or an addition if the interviewee is happy to be recorded. The video or audio interview should be the largest element on the screen, drawing the viewer’s attention straight away.
